On Sunday, February 12th, Toronto hosted Dr. Oz to a packed house of health enthusiasts at the Sony Centre. Everyone was eager to hear Dr. Oz’s message and he certainly did not disappoint. Devout fans cheered as Dr. Oz took to the stage and outlined his strategies for long-term health and wellness with a focus on preventing obesity. Ticket sales raised money to support MukiBaum Treatment Centre and a moving video showcased the inspiring work they do supporting people with complex disabilities. Beverly Thomson, the co-host of Canada AM, who has a personal connection to the MukiBaum Treatment Centre, emceed the event and moderated an audience Q & A session following his lecture.
